C25K... what the heck is that, you ask? It stands for Couch to 5K. It's a program that builds you up to running a 5K in 9 weeks by alternating between walking and running and gradually increasing the running intervals and decreasing the walking. * 5 minute warm-up walk
* alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for 20 minutes
* 5 minute cool down walk
It took me a few rounds to used to the creepy robot guy telling me when to walk and run. " *ding ding* run".... 90 seconds later, "*ding ding* walk". I kept wanting to run more than the 60 seconds, but know I need to stick with the program.
